  • Where can I find my account settings?

    You will find them on the upper left side of the app’s main screen, simply tap over the 3 bars (burger menu) next to your name and you will find there your basic information such as:

    • Lama User ID.
    • Account Personal information (Email, Phone number, Address, etc).
    • PIN settings.
    • And more.
  • How can I download a transaction statement?

    With Lama downloading transactions statements is very easy, just follow these simple steps: 

    1. Access your account activity by tapping over the ‘Activity’ icon located below your general balance in your app’s home screen. 
    2. Locate the transaction that you wish to have a statement for and tap over it.
    3. Once there, tap over “Statement”.
    4. After selecting this option and opening the statement you can save or share the statement directly from your phone. 
  • My friends cannot see me in their contacts lists as a Lama friend, what should I do?

    For your friends to view you on their Lama Friends contacts list, make sure you have the “Account discovery” setting activated. 

    To confirm that, please follow this simple step: 

    1. Access your Account Settings (Tap over the burger menu next to your name). 
    2. Scroll down to the ‘Security and options’ section and locate the option ‘Allow Account Discovery’.
    3. Turn it on if it is currently off.  

    This will allow your friends to locate your account just by having your phone number saved on their phone’s contact list. 

  • How can I activate the FaceID or Fingerprint Login?

    Your Lama app can easily connect with your device biometric settings, whether it is an Apple device or an Android device. To activate this extra security layer, follow these simple steps: 

    1. Login to your Lama account as usual.
    2. Tap over the burger menu next to your name at the upper left corner of your screen. 
    3. Scroll down to the ‘Security and options’ section. 
    4. Turn on the toggle ‘FaceID Login’ or ‘TouchID Login’. 
    5. Once this toggle is on, the Lama app will request for you to validate this setting by confirming FaceID or TouchID in Apple devices or Fingerprint in Android devices with this capability. 

    Note that this setting should be active and functional on your device so that your Lama app can recognize it and use it for future logins.

  • How can I create a Euro account?

    With Lama, you must activate your EUR account after your Verification Process (KYC) is approved.  

    Once approved you can manually activate it by following these simple steps:

    • Go into the Lama Home Screen and under the section: “Accounts” choose “EUR” 
    • Tap on the button that says: “Create EUR account”
    • The system will start creating your account and you will be notified through a pop-up once the account is created. (This could take up to 5 minutes).
    • All your IBAN details will be available and ready to use once created.

    If your Euro account is not created after the above steps, please contact our support team at support@mylama.eu so it can be fixed.

  • How can I access my account in the Webapp?

    Lama offers you the option to access and use your account on our WebApp. To do so, follow these simple steps: 

    1. In your computer browser, go to the website: https://app.mylama.eu/
    2. Once you are there you will find a QR code and the steps to follow are as easy as: 
    • Open Lama on your phone.
    • Go to the account settings and tap Use Lama on Desktop.
    • Scan the QR code.
    1. You are now logged into the Lama Webapp and can start using our services on your computer.

    Note that Lama’s Webapp it is an extension of your mobile app, you can manage your funds, process transactions and more. Nevertheless, the are few features that are currently still exclusive to the Lama mobile app.


     

  • I lost my mobile phone, how do I block my account?

    If you have lost your phone and want to prevent anyone from accessing your account, remember to contact the support team at support@mylama.eu to block your account.

    After this and when you have access to your phone again, you will have to go through the verification process again to make sure it is you and regain access to your account again.

    Remember to have your personal documentation on hand to validate your application.

     

  • I lost access to my email, how can I change my verification method?

    If you lost access to your email or if you want to change it, but you still have access to your Lama app, you can reach out to our support team via a live interactive channel (Chat or Whatsapp).

    This will allow us to secure a verification code in real time to update your account information.
